How do you pick a church? You could just pick the one closest to you or the one that matches your denominational preference or upbringing. I hope you know that not all churches are the same. Where you attend church is an important decision. Here at Living Way we are striving to be an encouraging church. We are dedicated to building up one another. We're God's people; we are His family. We love one another. His love is the basis of our unity. As a church, our common cause is the cause of Jesus Christ and His love. Christ and His love are what keeps us together. Of course, this doesn't mean we don’t experience conflicts. It does mean, however, we resolve conflicts both peacefully and lovely.
Both our focus and message is Jesus Christ. You can have a dynamic, life changing relationship with the Almighty God – but only through His son Jesus Christ. The Bible says, Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) Jesus himself said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) It is through Jesus that we come alive spiritually. It is through Jesus that we experience life to the fullest. It is through Jesus that we experience a personal relationship with God.
All religions don't lead to God. Only Jesus can bring you into a right relationship with God. He is the focus of our message, as well as our music, of our very existence. The Bible is the basis for all that we believe. Our commitment to truth is a commitment to knowing the Bible and applying its principles to our daily lives. These commitments are not based on convenience; they're based on conviction. Being consistent in our walk with Christ and in our work for Christ is our ultimate priority. We may not have everything or do everything but what we do have is the ability to encourage one another, to love one another, to lift up the name of Jesus Christ, to teach the simple truth of the Bible and to do it week after week after week.
